Kyle Seller,  Warren McCulloch,  Dale Garbutt, Jason Vaandrager, and David Eisner

Positions & Duties:


The purpose of this meeting was to decide who would be responsible for the various tasks that are involved with maintaining the VRPA.  We divided the responsibilities between the 6 committee members as listed below.  These positions will run for 1 year and will be reassigned in December at our Christmas AGM. 

Kyle (President) – Organize and confirm the attendance for the tournament evenings

 

Warren (Vice Pres.) – Tabulate and maintain the tournament results from each tournament evening

 

Jason (Administrator) – Treasurer and web administration / design

 

David (Administrator) – Monitor all local auctions, maintain membership status

 

Dale (Events Coordinator) – Coordinate special events for tournament evenings

 

Eden (League Organizer) – Organize and maintain league, publish newsletter

 

Other duties that will be shared include:
Taking the minutes (to be rotated each meeting between all committee members)

Major events will be developed as needed during committee meetings

 

 

Meeting Intervals:

 

Both committee and tournament meetings will be held every 6 weeks.  The committee meetings will be held 3 weeks after/before the next tournament meeting.

 

Other:

 

Kyle will work on a tentative schedule for the entire year and send out a request for anyone who is willing to host a tournament evening.

 

The next meeting is scheduled for the 26th of February.  Items to be discussed are going to be tournament format and rules, hosting costs & reimbursements, and if time allows we will begin to discuss membership procedures for all new members.
