VRPA Show for 2004:
-Don and Gale had the idea that maybe it should be done in conjunction
with Able Auctions. They have a
connection with the CKNW Orphan's fund, which is an excellent charity, and they
would obviously have experience with a large gaming set-up. It would be nice if it could be done in a
hotel ballroom, for example, and possibly time it for Able's
Xmas Arcade auction. Gale will talk to
Able about it, toss around a few ideas about it, and report back to us, in the
future, on their feelings about it.
-What is the purpose of our show??:
1) PINBALL AWARENESS!
2) To get more members...
3) Show off our games...
4) Let people know pinball is
still alive and fun...
-It was suggested that maybe we should set up a small VRPA section and
banner at THIS year's Xmas Able auction for a VRPA 2004 show promo. Gale will investigate this as well.
Forum Chat:
-Jason says he'll be able to host the forum very soon, once they work out
a few bugs... Thank God!! The general
consensus is that the current forum pretty much sucks.
A variety of complaints including time difference and E-Wallpaper pop-ups!! Grrrrr!!
Meeting was adjourned, and the tournament commenced: All 7 of Woz' games,
played twice by each participant, keeping their highest score on each game.
