Apologies:

Apologies received from David Eisner - everyone wished David a speedy recovery.

Kyle expressed thanks on behalf of everyone to:
Jason for hosting the meeting and tournament.
David Eisner for doing a great job on the membership cards (which were handed out to all members in attendance)
David Grant for providing many of the agenda items
Warren was introduced as the Vice President of the VRPA

Kyle announced that following discussions with Canadian Coin a discount would be available to members (details to follow and be posted on website)

It was also suggested that the website could be "jazzed up" in the future but this would need content contributions from members.

Five items on the agenda were then discussed and voted on. Each item was allocated a specific amount of time so that there would be time to run the tournament later in the evening.

These are the result of the votes with any amendments to the original agenda item noted

Item 1: Members must reside...

Option C: Members must reside between the area covered by Vancouver Island and Hope. However, all meetings and tournaments will only be held in the GVRD to restrict the amount of travel for the majority of members. The definition of GVRD includes North Vancouver to Abbotsford.

Item 2:

Option C: Members must own at least one machine and may be the sponsor of one "guest" member at any one time.[Seller, Kyle] We can go into finer detail of this in the Charter.

Item 3:

Option C: Forum Membership: association membership not required but administrator must verify email address A members only section should be added to the forum subject to capabilities of the software

Item 4:

Option C: Guests can attend official meetings with consent of the meeting host before the meeting is held and subject to space/notice and approval of the host.[Seller, Kyle] Guests CANNOT vote on agenda items.

Item 5:

Option A: No host advantage system. Host takes 100% of their earnings during the tournament if they win a cash reward.

Items to be added to agenda for next meeting

Discuss tournament payment options. It was suggested that a $2 donation be paid to the host for supplying food/drinks

Meeting was adjourned and then we played some pinball ;-)
