VRPA Committee Meeting: Nov. 28^th, 2005

1)  News: Warren has resigned from the Committee due to numerous commitments at home, resulting in difficulty finding time for the VRPA committee. Warren will truly be missed, but we wish him well in all his endeavours, of course, and we do hope to see him throughout the year at various events.

2)  AGM Schedule: A schedule for Dale G’s event on December 18^th was hammered out, and will be as follows:

- Noon: Doors Open to all VRPA Members ONLY.

- 2 pm: AGM for VRPA Members ONLY

- 3:30pm: Guests may start arriving.

- 4 pm: Doubles Flipper Mini Tourney (one person on each flipper)

- 5:30pm: VRPA Tournament will begin.

- 6 pm: 1 Handed Mini Tourney (one hand behind your back)

- 6:30pm: Pizza will arrive.

- 8 pm: 2 Minute Drill Mini Tourney (stop playing after 2 minutes)

- VRPA Tourney and League Awards presented after VRPA Tournament completes.

A donation jar, as well as a bin for Food Bank donations will be present at Dale’s.

3) AGM Meeting Topics: Several topics will be discussed at the AGM including:

- State of the VRPA, and review of 2005.

- A look towards the VRPA in 2006.

- Shirt progress and possible sneak peek.

- Committee Changes and possible Vote for new Committee Member.

- Financial Statement and Fees for 2006.

- Tournament and League Schedule, Changes, and Updates for 2006

- Special Events for 2006.

- Feedback Discussion.

Kyle will have to make a post inviting someone to become a new Committee member, and Eden will have to make a post briefly discussing the handicap system created for 2006.

4) Financial Statement: Kyle and / or Warren will have one prepared for the meeting.

5) Post for New Members: It was suggested that a post be made in the Members section welcoming new members to the group, helping everyone else get to know this new person.
